For your next trip to paradise, let us recommend some of our favorite public beaches in Cozumel! Discover the untamed coastlines and rocky shores on the east or the west side of the island’s powdery sands and crystalline waters.
All beaches are public, but some beach restaurants and clubs near the water may have a small admission cost.
Beach flags mark if it’s safe to swim. Do not swim if you see a black flag! Green flags are flown very rarely, so always exercise caution with yellow and red flags.
Maintained beaches will have restrooms with showers. Easily rinse off at our hotel, where every guest room has a private and modern washroom.
The West Side offers calm waters that are ideal for snorkeling and splashing in the surf. Western beaches are closer to the port and usually more crowded.
The East Side of the island boasts stunning ocean vistas and large waves. Eastern beaches are usually less crowded as they are further from the port.
Soak up the sun at one of our top public beaches in Cozumel, Mexico during your stay at the Flamingo!
